YuYuYu’s newest venture, the Orient Express Bistro, offers an exhilarating dialogue between Western cocktail culture and the bold spirit of Sichuan cuisine. Drawing inspiration from the stage play Murder on the Orient Express, the design channels the theatrical glamour of a bygone era through a contemporary lens.
Concept inspired by the theater production of “Murder on the Orient Express.”
Guests step into a world of lush velvet drapery, a gleaming brass bar, lacquered wood cabins, and intricately patterned floors—each element meticulously composed to heighten the sense of immersion.
Architecturally, the space interlocks two contrasting worlds: a vintage train carriage seamlessly arriving at an Oriental station. This spatial fusion mirrors the restaurant’s culinary narrative—an encounter between East and West that unfolds as both spectacle and story.
